Some components were designed and 3D printed in titanium fiber for the hi-tech boat of the champion Ruggero Tita. The need was to lighten the boat and titanium has almost halved the weight compared to steel. Thanks to ProM Facility Ruggero Tita has improved many components of the boat: the hoist, a shackle-like ring, a fork and a plate.
