ProM Facility adds another arrow to its bow. At the end of July, Trentino Sviluppo’s prototyping centre, directed by Paolo Gregori, obtained ISO 9001 Certification after a process in which it demonstrated that it meets the requirements of the international standard for Quality Management Systems for organisations.
This certification is both an acknowledgement of the high level of customer service, staff training and safety promoted within ProM Facility, and of a working method that encourages continuous progress.
ISO 9001 is in fact modular and, in the future, further building blocks such as the certification of technological processes or environmental sustainability may be added.
Among the evaluation criteria taken into account in this certification process, validated by Bureau Veritas, were in particular:
- the traceability of internal order and project management processes
- the sustainability of organisational and management models
- the focus on safety at work
- the commitment to continuous staff training in prototyping and engineering services.
‘The achievement of this certification,’ explains Paolo Gregori, ‘is a very significant milestone for us. It is, in fact, a fundamental requirement for accessing a series of public and private tenders, so as to be able to establish new collaborations with multinational companies, brands and research institutes that are increasingly requesting it’.
