Le tecnologie di AM-Flow in azione nei laboratori di ProM Facility

AM-Flow technologies at the ProM Facility laboratories

The Separation and sorting technology system will remain on display in Rovereto for the duration of the Open Call of the 3DOP 3D - printing Optimised Production project

Established under the wing of the European 3DOP 3D – printing Optimised Production project, the partnership between ProM Facility and the Dutch company AM-Flow is leading to further positive activities:

  • the ‘Automation in Additive Manufacturing: 3 connected workflows’ workshop
  • the installation of the AM-VISION and AM-SORT systems at ProM Facility’s premises in Rovereto
  • the possibility for companies to visit ProM Facility and see the systems in action

‘Automation in Additive Manufacturing: 3 connected workflows’ workshop

On Thursday, 3 October in Rovereto at the headquarters of Trentino Sviluppo, a refresher day was held, organised by the three international companies AM-Flow, Materialise and Digifabster, with the collaboration of ProM Facility.

The event, reserved for experts and insiders, took stock of the latest advances in automation in 3D printing processes and showed how mass production through additive manufacturing technology can now be taken to a higher level of efficiency and customisation, thereby ensuring maximum responsiveness towards customers.

Thanks to the Lab Tour in the afternoon, participants were also able to learn about the functions and technologies present at the Trentino mechatronic prototyping centre, which now include AM-Flow’s AM-VISION and AM-SORT systems.

AM-VISION and AM-SORT at ProM Facility in Rovereto

AM-Flow has granted ProM Facility on loan for use a machine with the AM-VISION and AM-SORT systems. This is a separation and sorting technology, i.e. an optical shape sorter that is particularly useful for part mass-producing companies.

The machine will remain installed, also for demonstration purposes, at ProM Facility for the duration of the Open Call of the 3DOP 3D – printing Optimised Production project, which is scheduled to be launched in mid-October and of which AM-Flow is one of the Solution Owners.

The project will offer SMEs not included in the consortium of partners, among other services, the additive manufacturing process automation service provided by AM-Flow via its own machinery.

Having the machine on view in Trentino can therefore become strategic for companies interested in joining the Open Call of the 3DOP project and in installing the machine.

Visits to the laboratories and demos of the machinery in use at ProM Facility can be arranged by e-mailing info@promfacility.eu.
