‘Additive coordinates towards the future’ is the theme chosen for this 12th Conference/Exhibition dedicated to the development of new products or their re-engineering from a generative perspective with the help of integrated additive technologies.
This fair grows year after year, involving more and more entrepreneurs, managers, technical directors, production managers, designers, heads of design, engineering studios and service executives, interested in the introduction of additive technologies in their production processes. The sectors of application have also expanded and now include aeronautics, energy, oil & gas, automotive, racing, furniture, fashion, design, medical, dental and technical components.
In addition to being one of the gold sponsors, ProM Facility will participate in the fair with an exhibition stand and will speak on a panel during the conference.
The panel is scheduled for Thursday, 26 September at 12:15 p.m. and will be entitled ‘ProM Facility AM Use Cases: Medical, Wellness, Sports and Sustainability’.
Speakers will include:
- Matteo Perini – head of the additive manufacturing department
- Ciro Malacarne – additive manufacturing technologist
Perini and Malacarne will present an overview of ProM Facility’s latest activities, highlighting its impact on everyday life and its potential to promote a more efficient present and future, especially in the design and development scenarios in which the workshop is strongly and proudly active: medicine, wellness, sport and sustainability. The European projects 3DOP and DIAMETER, that focus on the circular economy and the reduction of material waste through recycling, reuse and repair of energy-sector parts, will be highlighted.
For the duration of the RM Forum there will be a showcase displaying precisely those parts made with additive technologies in the ProM Facility and referred to in the panel.
